I May Need to Replace My Old Longboard Soon
I am starting to think that life could be a little bit better for me if I just bought a better longboard than this old cheap longboard that I am using at the moment. I think it is about to give up on me. I have had it with me for about five years now and I have not done any maintenance on it at all.
In fairness to it, it has stood up quite well to the test of time. I mean, this is a fifty dollar longboard that we are talking about. It is quite fascinating to see that this has pretty much outlasted the other longboards that my friends have used. But I guess I do not really do any extreme stuff to it. But I do use it practically every single day to get to my classes or when I have to go to the shopping area or when I have to go get something to eat. All in all, I think I put in about an average of fifty miles a week on this longboard and that amounts to like over two thousand five hundred miles a year.
And I am pretty impressed with how it has stood up to some wear and tear. Although lately, I can really hear the board creaking every time I step on to it. So I may have to replace this thing with a better one and just hang this one on my wall as a reminder of all our other good times.
My next problem is how to afford a new longboard. I am really looking to get this loaded dervish from an online store which was selling it at a great discount but at the moment, I have all these tuition fees to take care of and my rent to pay. I guess I will have to find a job.
